The Caribbean sun is very hot so we recommend using a high factor sun screen( SPF 50 for the first few days). Also wearing at hat and sunglasses is recommended. You will need only light casual clothing for the easy Los Roques lifestyle. Not forgetting snorkelling equipment and medicine. We advise all visitors to carry cash. There is just one bank and often has electricity problems therefore it may be difficult to withdraw. For EU citizens a valid passport is sufficient for those travelling within a 6 month period. However you are requested to draw up a type of visa which you will receive during your flight which is to be returned on departure. The time zone is 5 hours behind Italy and 6 hours during the summer months. Electricity runs on a 110 voltage with American wall sockets(flat reed). Links |
